BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. The production volume of cars grew in Kazakhstan from January through July 2022, Trend reports via the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan.

According to the bureau, this figure amounted to 54,104, up by 32.9 percent on annual basis.

In July this year, Kazakhstan produced 7,132 cars, which is 16.7 percent more than in July 2021, but 32.4 percent less in monthly terms.

During the reporting month, the country imported 4,434 cars (a decrease of 43.6 percent year on year), and in the first seven months – 31,318 cars (a reduction of 11.8 percent compared to June 2022).

Besides, according to the bureau, Kazakhstan exported 508 cars in July 2022, which is one percent less than in the same month of 2021, and a decrease of 45.7 percent compared to the previous month of this year.

From January through July 2022, 4,676 cars were exported by Kazakhstan (9.6 percent more on annual basis).

In July 2022, the volume of car sales in the country’s domestic market decreased by 17.8 percent year on year, and by 24.5 percent compared to June 2022, amounting to 11,058.

During the first seven months, 80,746 cars were sold on the domestic market, down by 5.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
