BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. Kazakhstan has held an auction on the installation of wind power plants with a total capacity of 100 MW for the northern zone of the Unified Electric Power System of the Ulytau region, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
With the maximum threshold set at 21,53 Kazakh tenge excluding VAT ($0.047) per MWh, only 5 companies have been allowed to participate.
Thus, China’s Mezgilder Qushteri LLP has won the auction with a price of 12.39 Kazakh tenge ($0.02) per MWh and now will be engaged in the implementation of a project with a total capacity of 100 MW.
As a result, the decrease in the auction price made up 42.5 percent, which is considered to be a very solid indicator.
