BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. Aqchulaqov added that this reorientation is part of the framework of the Roadmap for development of alternative export oil export routes.

The minister also said that Kazakhstan aims to expand the existing oil production and refinement infrastructure. Shymkent oil refinery’s expansion is planned to be completed by 2029, which will allow increasing processing volumes up to 21 million tons per year.
