BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 5. Kazakhstan’s North-Kazakhstan region hopes to attract investments worth around of 25.4 billion Kazakh tenge ($54.6 million) in 2023, Aidarbek Saparov, Head of the region, said, Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.
Saparov added that these funds will be allocated for the purpose of developing industrial sector in the region.
“This economic sector requires our attention. In 2023, we plan to implement 11 projects. We will create additional 800 work-places and opportunities for import substitution. The production will focus on autoclaved gas blocks, ceramic bricks, glass products, thin-walled steel structures, passenger cars, and trailed agricultural machinery manufacturing,” Saparov noted.
He addedthat the majority of the projects will be carried out in Petropavlovsk.
