BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. The number of flights between Kazakhstan and the UAE increased as “Wizz Air Abu Dhabi” low-cost flight operating company increased the number of flights between Almaty and Abu Dhabi from 3 to 4 times a week, Trend reports, citing the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan.

The flights between the two cities will be executed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flights are carried out on Airbus A320/A321 aircraft family.

Additionally, the “Fly Dubai” company will increase the number of flights between Dubai and Astana from 10 to 14 per week starting from 26 January. The number of flights operating between Dubai and Almaty will also reach 14 on 28 January.

Meanwhile, the flights between Shymkent and Dubai will be reinstated by “Fly Dubai”. Departures will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays via Boeing-737 aircraft.

The increase in the number of flights contributes to the further development of tourism, business and trade, and economic cooperation between the two countries. The number of flights was increased as a consequence of the agreements reached in the framework of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to the UAE.
