BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. Kazakhstan and Estonia are interested in fulfilling the existing potential for cooperation in the field of transportation, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan.

The sides agreed to develop transport relations during the meeting of the working group on cooperation in the field of transport, transit, and information technology between Kazakhstan and Estonia.

Kazakhstan and Estonia discussed economic cooperation, which stems from the implementation of the international transport corridor linking Europe and Asia.

Representatives of Estonia also revealed that the Estonian Maritime Academy is ready to invite Kazakh students to further their education.

The relationship between Estonia and Kazakhstan has been improving systematically. Trade turnover between the two countries grew by 6.4 times in 2022 compared to the prior year and reached $121.9 million. A total of 73 Estonian companies operate in Kazakhstan.
