BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 14. Kazakhstan does not expect any increase in gasoline prices in the near future, Bolat Aqchulaqov, the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, told journalists after a government meeting, Trend reports, via Kazakh media.

"We have already stocked gasoline and diesel fuel, far before the sowing season, and, at the same time, determined the volume that will have to be imported. About 850,000 tons will be imported from Russia this year," he said.

Aqchulaqov also added that Kazakhstan plans to send another 20,000 tons of oil to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline in April 2023. By agreement, Kazakhstan should supply 300,000 tons of oil through the pipeline.

Meanwhile, according to the latest report from Global Petrol Prices (GPP), the Kazakhstan's population enjoys one of the lowest gasoline prices, with a liter of gasoline costing around 211.72 Kazakh tenge ($0.45).
