BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Kazakhstan envisages allocating 100 billion Kazakh tenge ($220.1 million) in preferential micro-loans as part of the "Auyl Amanaty" project designed to increase the incomes of the rural population, Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeev said at the meeting of the government, Trend reports via the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture.

During his report on what measures the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture is implementing to control and reduce the inflation rate, the minister noted that since the beginning of the year, the work of the stabilization funds has been reformatted.

In addition, as he said, processing enterprises, such as sugar and butter factories, will be provided with working capital for the purchase of raw materials.

Speaking about the "Auyl Amanaty" project, the minister said that it is planned to allocate 100 billion Kazakh tenge ($220.1 million), which will allow issuing more than 17,000 preferential microcredits to villagers at 2.5 percent and create more than 18,000 jobs.

Along with microcredit, the minister said that it is also planned to replicate the successful experience of the North Kazakhstan region in the implementation of major investment projects in the field of agro-industrial complexes.
