BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 22. Kazakhstan intends to increase the export of processed products to $41 billion by 2025, Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration, Kayrat Torebayev said in a briefing at the Central Communications Service, Trend reports.

According to the deputy minister, last year, the country's export value stood at $26.5 billion.

"In the first quarter of this year, the total volume of external trade in processed products reached $18.8 billion, marking a 32 percent increase compared to the previous year. Over the past three years, this figure has grown by 63 percent. Non-commodity goods exports during this period amounted to $5.9 billion, representing a growth rate of 7.6 percent," explained the deputy minister.

The growth in exports is attributed not only to increased volumes but also to the expansion of the range of exported goods. In the first quarter alone, the range of export products expanded by 767 items, providing further opportunities for trade.

Torebayev also disclosed that the Ministry has developed a special draft law for the establishment of an export credit agency. The draft law is currently under review in Parliament.
