Kazakhstan plans to attract over $2.5B worth of investments to Ulytau region

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 28. Kazakhstan plans to attract investments from various sources to the Ulytau region in the amount of 1.14 trillion Kazakh tenge ($2.52 billion), Trend reports.

The investments are planned to be attracted within the framework of the comprehensive plan adopted last year until 2026.

At the moment, more than 85 billion Kazakh tenge ($188.23 million) has been invested under the comprehensive plan, 6 projects worth 5 billion tenge ($11.07 million) were launched, 430 new jobs were created.

In a comprehensive plan, the priority direction is diversification of the region's economy.

Furthermore, an association has been formed in the region until 2026 from 14 investment projects totaling about 140 billion Kazakh tenge ($310.02 million).

Ulytau region in Kazakhstan is one of the fastest growing regions of the country.

Over the past few years, many projects have been implemented in this region aimed at stimulating its economic growth and improving the quality of life of the local population.
