ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 16. The Government of Kazakhstan has approved a new master plan for the development of the city of Shymkent until 2035, Trend reports.

As part of the comprehensive development of one of the largest industrial, commercial, and cultural centers in the country, the volume of housing construction will increase, and new production zones, a bypass railway line, and a station with a capacity of 20,000 passengers per day will be built.

The development of the city’s economic sectors will continue through the implementation of effective industrial, infrastructure, investment, and trade policies.

Big attention will be paid to the issues of modernization of industrial areas. Their area is planned to increase by 5,000 hectares by 2035 through the construction of new industrial zones. 14 promising industrial clusters will be developed in new industrial zones.

As a result of the measures taken, it is expected that by 2035 there will be more than 1 million jobs in the city’s socio-economic sectors.

Telecommunication networks will also be expanded and modernized using Next Generation Network technology, which will provide residents with a wide range of information and communication services.
