ASTANA, Kazakhstan, February 6. KazMunayGas has completed the implementation of three investment projects in 2023, Trend reports.
The head of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov was informed about this during the presentation of the results of the national company’s activities in 2023.
Thus, last year, the reconstruction and expansion of the Astrakhan-Mangyshlak water pipeline and the construction of a water pipeline at the Kashagan complex gas treatment facility were completed.
At the same time, in 2023, the company purchased two oil tankers with a deadweight of 8,000 tons.
In addition, in 2024, the Kazakh national company will build a liquefied hydrocarbon gas purification plant at the Pavlodar petrochemical plant, implement a project to install the 5th gas reinjection compressor, and complete the construction of a thermal power plant in Romania.
Meanwhile, KazMunayGas JSC (KMG, Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company) will produce about 23.5 million tons of oil and gas condensate in 2023.
The volume of oil transportation amounted to 80.3 million tons in 2023, and 18.5 million tons of oil were processed at the refineries.
At the same time, the company's revenue last year, according to operational data, exceeded 8.3 trillion tenge (about $18.2 billion).
