Presidents of Kazakhstan, Turkey discuss refinery construction on Black Sea

(Kazakhstan today) - President of Kazakhstan talked on telephone to Ahmet Necdet Sezer, President of Turkey, yesterday, June 5, Kazakhstan Today reports citing the presidential press service.

They discussed bilateral commercial, economic, energy co-operation, in particular an efficient use of the transit potential. In particular, the heads of state discussed transportation of Kazakhstani oil from Aktau to Baku and further through the pipeline Baku - Tbilisi - Ceyhan and the construction of an oil refinery on the Black Sea coast in Turkey with participation of Kazakhstani investors, reports Trend.

The heads of state noted the commonality of their positions on regional and international politics, and discussed the forthcoming CICA summit and meeting of Presidents of Turkic states this September in Antalya.
