Astana 2007 Budget Draft Makes Up 74b Tenges

The budget draft of the development of Astana on 2007 under the chairmanship of the country`s Prime-Minister Danial Akhmetov was discussed at the Kazakhstan Government today.

Trend`s reporter to Astana reports that during the meeting the list of priority institutions of education, health protection, culture and sport was presented. The issues concerning construction of highways and internal road interchanges in the city were discussed as well.

The commission of 5 news schools in Kartalinskaya St., Jangildin St., in the Settlement of Promishlenny and on the left-bank of the capital is expected the next year. Also the civil-engineering type professional school on 800 persons, and two schools in Moskovskaya St, and in the district of Streets of Seyfullin and Omarov are planned to be opened in 2007.

Besides, the Government plans to assign means on the construction of maternity hospital on 150 beds, the construction of another M3 bridge, and the reconstruction of the old one in the district of Ramstore, and other objects of a strategic nature for the city.

The Prime-Minister of Kazakhstan adopted the 2007 budget draft of the capital to the sum of 74 b tenges.
