(PACE) - RenГ© van der Linden 13-16 September will address the 2nd Congress of World and Traditional Religions and holds bilateral meetings with the leaders of the principal religions of Kazakhstan, focusing on the issue of inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue.
The President will also meet President Nazarbaev, the Speakers of both houses of parliament, leading government ministers, leaders of political parties represented in parliament, opposition politicians, NGOs and media representatives.
During these meetings he will focus on the process of democratisation in Kazakhstan and on co-operation between the authorities of Kazakhstan and the Council of Europe.
