Global exchange youth project to start in Kazakhstan
(Kazinform) Tomorrow in Almaty city the British Council in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, Volunteer Service Abroad and Alpamys NGO will present a youth project Global exchange, reports Trend.
It is aimed at training an active and socially responsible youth and development of mutual understanding among young people from the different countries. Within a half year the volunteers from Great Britain and Kazakhstan will work with disabled children in Taldykorgan and London.
In Taldykorgan city young people will work in Alpamys NGO, a leisure center Kharuat, a boarding school, a school for visually-impaired children and in the labor and social protection department. For three months the young men will stay in London and visit governmental and non-governmental organizations, centers working with handicapped people.
