(gazeta.kz) - The commodity turnover between Kazakhstan and China in the current year is going to exceed $10 billion. Wang Lequan, CP Secretary of the XUAR, made such statement Tuesday at a meeting with Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Today correspondent reports.
"Last year the commodity turnover between our country was $7 billion, this year, according to preliminary data, it is going to exceed $10 billion," - Mr. Lequan said. According to him, "the commercial and economic co-operation between Kazakhstan and China is presently developing very dynamically." The CP Committee Secretary observed that "there are big co-operation prospects in this area."
According to Mr. Lequan, 70% of the commodities exported from China to Kazakhstan come from the XUAR. He also stressed that the construction of a China-Kazakhstan Transboundary Co-operation Centre was carried out as per the schedule, reports Trend.
