Kyrgyzstan counts 29.8 thousand vacancies in 2009

As of January - June 2009 Kyrgyzstan counts up to 29.8 thousand vacant working places, the State Migration and Employment Committee informed the news agency 24.kg Tuesday.

"As of July 1, 2009 Kyrgyzstan has up to 6,000 unclaimed vacancies," the message read.

Up to 88.3 thousand Kyrgyz citizens have turned to the regional migration and employment committees for the first six months of 2009, whereof 46.5 thousand received consultations on choosing a profession. Some 4.4 thousand unemployed underwent professional trainings, which is 22.2 percent more than the last-year indices. The list of most demanded professions in Kyrgyzstan today includes - gas welders, drivers, hair dressers, construction electricians, IT managers, accountants, cooks and other.
