At least two mobile respiratory centers will be opened in Osh and Bishkek, Talant Sooronbaev, President of the Kyrgyz Thoracic Society, Professor told the press conference on Wednesday.

At least two mobile respiratory centers will be opened in Osh and Bishkek, Talant Sooronbaev, President of the Kyrgyz Thoracic Society, Professor told the press conference on Wednesday, news agency "24.kg" reported.

Specialist of the centers will have an opportunity to come to mountainous regions and carry out examination of population. "The highest chronic obstructive pulmonary disease incidence is registered in high-mountain districts of Naryn, Issyk-Kul and Osh regions. In general, about 200 thousand people suffer from the disease in Kyrgyzstan. The medical units will be established on the basis of $50 thousands grant," Sooronbaev said.

"Our main aim is to reveal the pulmonary disease at early stages. Four asthma clubs have been already opened in the republic. Our country has undertaken an obligation to stop usage of products, containing ozone-damaging substances," he said.

"Many people started using this medicines despite their price often exceeds the cost of ordinary sprays 10 times. Price for some of them is only 40 soms higher but they are more effective for treatment of the disease," the professor added.
