Deputy Chairman of the Interim Government of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev handed his resignation, the press-service of the IG KR informs.
Reportedly, now former chairman of the interim government of Kyrgyzstan had left the post "in order to ensure equal opportunity, justice and fairness in the upcoming parliamentary elections", news agency "24.kg" reported.
"Earlier I intended to participate in the technical government, but two weeks ago I decided to resign. The press has carried statements by some politicians who believe that the powers of the first vice-prime minister can be used in the upcoming parliamentary elections in the interest of a political party", the statement reads.
