Kyrgyzstan finishes detailed verification of voters' lists

Kyrgyzstan completed a detailed verification of voters' lists, according to the Central Election Commission, news agency "24.kg" reported.

The CEC member Mikhail Korsunski said there are only three polling stations left to be examined in Osh and Jalal-Abad provinces.

"Yesterday, we did not find the lists from these stations. But already now I can say that there is no polling station where there would be no mismatches in voter lists. Almost all members of district election commissions indicated underestimated number of voters. There were many violations registered in the city of Osh - we have even found seven false absentee ballots," he said.

Mikhail Korsunski explained that added that the Central Election Commission will hold a meeting following the results of the detailed verification to discuss submitted protocols on violation registered. "I can not say the date when the Commission will announce the official results of parliamentary elections. First, we must respond to all complaints received as well as to deal with documents from the polling stations opened abroad. Only then we will issue the official results," he stressed.
