UN Chief: Kyrgyzstan on the right path of development
"Kyrgyzstan has chosen the right path of development," United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon stated when the new Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan to the United Nations, Talaibek Kydyrov presented his credentials, the press service of Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign informs, news agency "24.kg" reported.
According to Ban Ki-moon, Kyrgyzstan undergoes democratic transformations. "The country is on the right path of development, the UN will continue to provide every possible support to the republic," he stressed.
The sides discussed the need to improve public administration of the Kyrgyz Republic in conditions of parliamentary form of government and the priorities of cooperation with the United Nations. Talaibek Kydyrov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan will certainly fulfill all the commitments towards the Millennium Development Goals.
