"Soon the draft regulation on using of nationalized property will be submitted to government's consideration in Kyrgyzstan," Azamat Murzaliyev, director of the Fund of Nationalized Property Management, stated at the press conference today.
He says all 33 nationalized facilities transferred to the Fund are classified into two groups. "The first group includes facilities to be nationalized within short term to help out the national budget. Privatization will be made in accordance with law by sale, investment or commercial tender," noted Mr. Murzaliyev, news agency "24.kg" reported.
"The second group is facilities keeping as the government property. All of them demand economic analysis and specification aiming at their efficient use. Proposals on their further management are offered to the interim government."
According to official, the Fund considers possibility of using nationalized property basing on the state-private partnership. "Proposals of working group over nationalized facilities in touristic branch are taken into account. Also we think the law on nationalization must be elaborated in Kyrgyzstan," concluded official.
