Vice Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament asked the Prosecutor General to provide Jalal-Abad province governor with guards as he may face the danger after his loud statements about the corruption, 24.kg reported. Asiya Sasykbaeva has come forward with such initiative.
According to her, the governor told openly about many prohibited things. "He may face the danger," Asiya Sasykbaeva added.
However, the Prosecutor General Aida Salyanova stated that this issue is beyond her competence. "Apply to the president of the country," she added.
Jalal-Abad province governor told during faction's session that the corruption is flourishing in many region enterprises and attempts of forcible takeover of strategic facilities continue.
