The document states that, according to the data of the uniform state register of legal entities and branches, 49 political parties and 3, 607 non-profit organizations are registered from 2008 to May, 2011. A number of recognized non-governmental organizations on July 1, 2011 is 21 thousand.
In the same period the number of failures in the state registration (re-registration) of legal entities, branches and representative offices amounted to 4, 638. Motives of refusals were: failure to submit the statutory documents necessary for registration of a legal entity; discovery of inaccuracies or discrepancies of the information contained in the documents submitted, the mismatch of the submitted documents of non-profit organizations to the legislation of the KRG; absence of the information provided by the law in the decision.
