Qatari investors are interested in implementation of projects in Kyrgyzstan's agriculture and health care sectors, CA-NEWS reported with the reference to Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"We want to identify main sectors needing investments to establish mutually beneficial cooperation," the representative of Qatar Holding, Halim Hamimid said.
During Qatari delegation's visit to Kyrgyzstan the meeting with the President of Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marat Sharshekeev was held.
Sharshekeev presented a package of business projects for Qatari investors. He said that almost all economic sectors of Kyrgyzstan need investments.
One of the major projects in the country is construction of the Convention Center in Bishkek, which will accommodate exhibition pavilions, hotel, bank, businesses, mass media. Another presented project was the state-of-the-art fish plant in Issyk-Kul region.
Sharshekeev also said that Kyrgyz Chamber could serve as a link between businesses of Kyrgyzstan and Qatar.
