Kyrgyz Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov instructed Minister of Energy and Industry Askarbek Shadiev to dismiss head of the department on fuel and energy complex regulation Aygul Sultankulova, the government said on Friday, KirTAG reported.

At a governmental meeting Babanov drew attention to the issue of revoking the licenses from intermediary companies involved in reselling electricity.

"Several times the Ministry of Energy and Industry was instructed to revoke the licenses from the intermediary companies," Prime Minister said. "However, the licenses were revoked from 6 of 20 companies. After my personal interference, the distribution company "Vostokelektro" regained the right to energy supply of Makmal gold mining combine."

The head of the government instructed Shadiev to dismiss director of the department on fuel and energy complex regulation under the Ministry of Energy Sultankulova in connection of delaying the license revocation process.
