Kyrgyz Public Prosecutor's Office insists on arrest of Minister of Social Development Ravshan Sabirov, 24.kg reported.
Earlier Kyrgyz Prosecutor General's Office applied to the Supreme Court to revise the decision of Bishkek city court, which changed the measure of restraint and let Sabirov go under guarantee of Kyrgyz MPs. Prosecutor General's Office asks to take Sabirov into custody again.
Ravshan Sabirov was charged with bribe extortion in especially large amount from a foreign company for the issuance of licenses for international adoption. The Bishkek court decided to detent Sabirov in the pre-trial detention centre under the State National Security
Committee up to August 30 as a preventive punishment. However, the court of appellate jurisdiction recalled this decision.
