Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan, Taalaybek Kadyrov reported during open debates regarding Kyrgyzstan's participation in United Nations (UN) peacekeeping operations and the ongoing work aimed at improving the legal framework of peacekeeping activities, and strengthening cooperation with the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations, Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said on Tuesday.
As Kadyrov said, in 2012, Kyrgyzstan adopted the Law "on the essential principles and the procedure of Kyrgyzstan's participation in the maintenance of international peace and security," and "Regulations on training soldiers to be sent to UN peacekeeping missions".
Kadyrov also urged the UN to boost cooperation with the various regional bodies, including the Collective Security Treaty Organization .
