BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 23. Some 402 individual residential buildings with an area of 46,800 square meters were built in Kyrgyzstan in January 2023, Trend reports via the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
The figure decreased by almost 18 percent, from 445 individual residential buildings in the same month of 2022.
In the first month of this year, some 100 individual residential buildings were built in Jalal-Abad region, in Chuy region - 87 buildings, in Osh region – 82 buildings, in Batken region – 31 buildings, in Talas region – 30 buildings, in Bishkek city – 28 buildings, in Issyk-Kul region – 18 buildings, in Naryn region – 16 buildings, and 10 buildings were built in Osh city.
According to the statistical data, overall 9,612 residential buildings with an area of 1.1 million square meters were built in Kyrgyzstan in 2022, which is a decrease of almost 15 percent from 2021. Of them, 9,544 belonged to private sector, 36 to municipal sector and 32 to state sector.
During the period, some 2,154 individual residential buildings were built in Osh region, 1,923 buildings in Jalal-Abad region, 1,775 buildings in Chuy region, 812 buildings in Issyk-Kul region, 707 buildings in Bishkek city, 642 buildings in Batken region, 550 buildings in Talas region, 321 buildings in Naryn region, and 179 buildings in Osh city.
Additionally, from January through December 2022, the country built twelve new secondary schools, 18 preschool institutions, 9 hospitals and 22 outpatient clinics.
