BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 1. It is planned to build three new plants in Kyrgyzstan's Jalal-Abad city, Trend reports with reference to Kyrgyz media.

The plans for Jalal-Abad development in 2023 were discussed during the public hearing on the City Development program, with the participation of the Mayor of Jalal-Abad, Ernisbek Ormokov.

The mentioned plants for 2023 included construction of an asphalt concrete plant, a plant for the production of reinforced concrete products and a waste processing plant on the base of the “Jalal-Abad Tazalyk” municipal enterprise.

A tender for the construction of these plants is expected to be opened in March 2023.

The construction value of the asphalt concrete plant is estimated at 112 million soms ($1.2 million), the plant is going to cover the area of 0,8 hectares.

The cost of the construction of the waste processing plant and the plant for the production of reinforced concrete products is going to be more than 300 million soms ($3.4 million).

Meanwhile, in January 2023 it was announced that an oil refinery would be constructed and put into operation in Jalal-Abad region by 2025.
