BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 4. Kyrgyzstan's state budget revenues from the customs payments totaled 6.4 billion soms ($74.2 million) in February 2023, Trend reports via the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan.

The revenues exceeded the established plan by 1.4 percent or by 88 million soms ($1 million).

At the same time, Kyrgyzstan fulfilled the forecast for customs duties from the EAEU (the Eurasian Economic Union) by 84.4 percent or by 291.3 million soms ($3 million) less.

Notably, the revenues from the customs service increased considerably, compared to the same period of previous years, when the figure was 2.8 billion soms ($32 million) in February 2021, 1.8 billion soms ($20 million) in February 2020, and 2.7 billion soms ($30 million) in February 2019.

Meanwhile, the revenues of the State Custom Service to the state budget of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 6 billion soms ($68 million) in January 2023, exceeding the plan by 316.4 million soms ($3.6 million).

Reportedly, the volume of customs duties to the state budget of the country reached 74 billion soms ($863.6 million) from January through December 2022, which is an increase of 57.8 percent over the same period in 2021 (46.9 billion soms, or $547.3 million).
