BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 14. The trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia amounted to $162 million in January 2023, which is 25.5 percent less than $217.4 million in January 2022, Trend reports via the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the statistics, the exports from Kyrgyzstan to Russia totaled $38.7 million, increasing by 23 percent over $31.5 million in January 2022.
In turn, the imports to Kyrgyzstan from Russia reached $123 million, which is 34 percent less than $185.8 million in January 2022.
Reportedly, Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover made up $834 million in January 2023, which is an increase of 20 percent, compared to $692 million in January 2022.
The exports from Kyrgyzstan in the corresponding period totaled $125 million, increasing by 11 percent compared to $111 million in January 2022.
The imports to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $709 million, which is an increase of 22 percent compared to $581 million in January 2022.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia amounted to $3.2 billion in 2022, which is 40 percent more than $2.3 billion in 2021.
The exports from Kyrgyzstan to Russia made up $963 million and increased by 145 percent over $393 million in 2021.
The Russian exports to Kyrgyzstan in the reporting period amounted to $2.2 billion. The figure increased by 18 percent compared to $1.9 billion in 2021.
