BISHKEK, Azerbaijan, July 3. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and his Malaysian counterpart, Zambri Abdul Kadir, discussed the possibility of opening direct air flights between the countries during bilateral negotiations, Trend reports.
Kulubaev said that the establishment of a direct air route would contribute to the development of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia.
Following the negotiations, the sides also considered the establishment of new IT parks, joint cooperation in the creative economy, and the integration of new technologies into Kyrgyzstan's economy.
During the discussions, the parties addressed agricultural cooperation and the potential export of organic dried agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan to Malaysia. They expressed a readiness to collaborate in the development of the halal industry through meetings and negotiations involving the relevant authorities of both countries.
Kulubaev noted that both sides have considerable untapped potential in various areas. He said that in this regard, Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia are keen to enhance their cooperation and foster bilateral relations across all mutually beneficial sectors.
Additionally, an agreement was reached to increase the level of trade between the countries and enhance the volume of freight transportation.
