BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 8. The Eurasian Trade and Logistics Complex is set to be constructed in Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.

The corresponding investment agreement was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz-Chinese Investment Holding LLC following the meeting of Chairman of the Cabinet, Akylbek Japarov, with officials of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for International Cooperation in the Private Sector Economy.

The implementation of this project will take place in the Chuy region, with a total investment volume exceeding $700 million. It will encompass a trading city, an international exhibition center, a warehousing and logistics center with bonded zones, marketplaces for large-scale equipment, as well as residential and hotel complexes.

"Currently, Kyrgyzstan and China have intensified comprehensive cooperation across various sectors, undoubtedly indicating the high prospects of our bilateral engagement. We are pleased to collaborate with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and to execute the agreements reached on investment projects," Japarov said during the meeting.

He also proposed exploring the possibility of Chinese investment in the energy sector, specifically in projects related to renewable energy sources.
