BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, April 6. Kyrgyzstan imported 202,313 electric transformers in January 2024, which is a 3.9 percent increase compared to the same month in 2023, when 194,789 transformers were imported, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the total value of these imports amounted to $1.178 million, marking a 60-percent decrease compared to January 2023's figures of $2.936 million.

Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $1.168 billion in January 2024, a 36.8 percent increase compared to January 2023. Exports amounted to $181.3 million, which is a 46.6 percent increase year-on-year. Imports increased by 35.1 percent compared to January 2023, reaching $987.5 million.
