BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 3. Kyrgyzstan’s Tez Jet has spread its wings and started offering direct flights from the capital city, Bishkek, to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, starting from September 3, Trend reports.
According to the company, flights will be up and running four times a week—on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays—using a 164-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft.
The wheels will start rolling from Bishkek to Tashkent at the crack of dawn, precisely at 11:40 AM, and will touch down in Tashkent at high noon, around 12:00 PM local time. Flights from Tashkent to Bishkek will take off at the stroke of 1:00 PM and touch down in Bishkek at the magic hour of 3:00 PM.
Founded in 2013, Tez Jet is based at Manas International Airport. The airline's fleet includes three aircraft: one McDonnell Douglas MD-83 and two 94-seat BAe 146/Avro RJ85 British-made jets. Currently, Tez Jet operates domestic flights connecting Bishkek with Osh, Batken, Razakovo, Jalal-Abad, and Issyk-Kul Airport.
