BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 6. The memorandum on the establishment of the Council of Central Banks of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has been signed, Trend reports via Kyrgyzstan's National Bank.
According to the information, the document was signed within the framework of the 11th summit of the OTS in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Melis Turgunbaev, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Türkiye Fatih Karahan and Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Mamarizo Nurmuratov.
The formation of the Council of Central Banks of the OTS member states is intended to enhance collaboration among national regulators, facilitate joint consultations and research, and promote the exchange of expertise in monetary policy, financial stability, payment systems, and financial technologies.
To note, the 11th OTS Summit will be held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan on November 6 under the theme “Strengthening the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future and Security for All”.
