The film "The Dictator," starring famous British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen will not be shown in Tajikistan, The Voice of Russia reported.
An official with the film's distributor said that they are not planning to release the film in Tajikistan because of the mentality of the people.
The film will also not be shown in cinemas in Turkmenistan.
In other countries of Central Asia the premiere of the comedy will be on May 17th.
According to a brief summary of the film it's a heroic story of a dictator, who risks his life to prevent democracy in the country which he has so lovingly oppressed.
