Governments of Tajikistan and Slovakia are considering an agreement on promotion and mutual protection of investments, Asia-Plus reported on Monday with reference to the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan.
According to the report, two agreements - an agreement on the investment support and an agreement on trade and economic relations and cooperation in science and technology spheres have been already signed between Tajikistan and Slovakia.
As the report says, bilateral relations are also developing in areas such as education and research. Every year, through the the State program of Slovakia Tajik citizens receive scholarships to study the master's degree in economic fields in the Bratislava University.
