BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31. Tajikistan's trade turnover with CIS countries significantly increased from January through July 2022, Trend reports with reference to the avesta.tj.

As reported, the trade turnover of Tajikistan with the CIS countries in seven months of this year increased by 31 percent, compared to the same period of last year - up to $2 billion.

Tajik exports of goods to the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States from January through July 2022 amounted to $495.4 million, and imports - $1.6 billion.

During the reporting period, the main trading partners of Tajikistan from the CIS countries were Russia ($908.2 million), Kazakhstan ($781.6 million) and Uzbekistan ($314.8 million).

Meanwhile, the total foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan in seven months of 2022 increased by 16.5 percent compared to the same period of last year - up to $4.2 billion.
