BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. The volume of Tajikistan's imports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Kazakhstan decreased over the year, Trend reports citing the Argus Media's "The current situation in LPG market in Central Asia" report.
According to Argus Media, the volume of Tajik imports of LPG from Kazakhstan from January through September 2022 amounted to 234,800 tons, which is a decrease of 17.2 percent over the same period in 2021 (283,800 tons).
"Tajikistan does not produce LPG on its own. During the reporting period, LPG suppliers from Kazakhstan accounted for 86 percent of imports into the country, with Uzbekistan accounting for 8 percent and Russia - 3 percent," the message says.
