DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, July 28. Tajikistan’s trade turnover with Belgium amounted to 20.6 million euro from January through April 2023, which is 10 percent more than 18.6 million euro in the same period of 2022, Trend reports.
Tajikistan ranked 118th as an exporter to Belgium during this period, with a total export value of 11.8 million euros, according to the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency.
Tajikistan, on the other hand, imported 8.8 million euros from Belgium, placing them in 145th place as a Belgian importer.
Tajikistan and Belgium's commercial turnover in 2022 was 39 million euros, a 7.5 percent decline from the previous year's 42.2 million euros.
Tajikistan's imports from Belgium in 2022 were 8 million euros, which is 13.9 percent less than in 2021 (9.3 million euros).
Tajikistan's exports to Belgium reached 31 million euros in 2022, declining 5.7 percent decrease from 2021's figure of 32.9 million euros.
Tajikistan’s trade turnover amounted to $3.42 billion from January through June 2023, which is 2.8 percent or $98.2 million less than in the same period of 2022.
