The Caspian Environmental Service, a division of the Turkmen State Committee for Environmental Protection and Land Resources, held a monitoring of water and coast in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.

The content of harmful impurities is within the permissible limits in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, according to the newspaper.

The Caspian Environmental Service periodically conducts environmental audits of foreign and domestic companies, enterprises engaged in maritime transportations, production of oil and natural gas, geophysical and geological research, as well as transportation of energy resources.

“Ecologists confirm that the chemicals content and parameters of sea water around the Avaza (a Caspian resort) depend on seasonal and other conditions, and, in general, are stable and safe,” said the newspaper.
