President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Senior Vice-President on Sales & Projects of German Rohde & Schwarz Hartmut Jaschke, Turkmen State News agency reported on Feb. 16.
The sides exchanged views on cooperation prospects. Rohde & Schwarz confirmed the intention to strengthen its positions on the Turkmen market.
The company specializes informational technologies and wireless communications, production of electronic control and measurement devices, TV and radio broadcasting equipment, providing high-quality digital broadcasting, including hi-def formats.
Equipment of Rohde & Schwarz was used in closed venues and during martial arts events of 5th Asian Games held in Turkmenistan in September 2017.
Berdimuhamedov underlined traditional friendly and advancing nature of Turkmen-German relations, developing in all directions, including trade and economy sphere, where an important role is played by the joint intergovernmental workgroup, the local news agency reported.
German companies make a significant contribution to the implementation of long-term projects in Turkmenistan. Among them are such companies as Siemens AG, Daimler AG, CLAAS company, Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co KG, Dresser-Rand company.
