The Chairman of the Parliament of Turkmenistan Gulshat Mammadova received credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tunisia Mohamed Ali Chihi, the state news agency Turkmen Dovlet Khabarlary reported.
The Tunisian diplomat expressed willingness to contribute fully to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Information about the main directions of Turkmenistan's state policy was presented during the meeting.
Mohammed Ali Chihi was acquainted with projects implemented in Turkmenistan in various sectors of economy and social fields, as well as with the structure and activities of the Turkmen Parliament, the report said.
The diplomat was also received at the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. The sides expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of political and diplomatic relations, as well as cooperation within various international organizations, the Turkmen foreign ministry said.
