From March 31 to April 6, employees of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan will participate in the OSCE seminar on strengthening the capacity of the country's border guard service, Trend reports referring to Belarus Embassy in Turkmenistan.
The event will be held on the basis of the Belarus Border Guard Institute, located in Minsk. The support is provided by the State Border Committee of Belarus and the OSCE Center in Turkmenistan. Similar events have been held in Belarus as well.
"The organization of the current seminar for Turkmen colleagues was a continuation of the systemic cooperation established between the border services of the two countries," a source at the embassy said.
Turkmenistan shares land borders with Kazakhstan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and maritime borders with Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Iran.
