EBRD consulting Turkmenistan in promoting export of goods

A workshop on the promotion of goods for export, organized by the European Union and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), is taking place in Ashgabat, Trend reports on Oct. 10 referring to the Business-Turkmenistan agency.
The event is organized within the project entitled "Promotion of further sustainable agriculture and rural development in Turkmenistan" with the participation of the Turkmen Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Local entrepreneurs, export managers, representatives of small and medium enterprises from all regions of the country are taking part in the workshop. It is conducted by Jonathan Ian Walden, an international trade and logistics consultant who has worked with such companies as SITPRO, Xerox and Adidas.
This workshop is being held with the aim of improving the knowledge and skills of exporters in the development and implementation of specific export strategies, obtaining information about access to foreign markets and achieving competitiveness in the field of export.
