A workshop dedicated to "Actual issues of introducing a single window for foreign trade" was held at the Turkmen State Customs Service, Trend reports referring to the State Customs Service.
“The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) was a co-organizer with the participation of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD),” the message said. “The event is held in accordance with the Concept of Development of Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025.”
“The Turkmen State Customs Service is conducting consistent work to optimize its activity in the field of digitalization,” the message said.
“The experts’ presentations on the implementation of the single window system allowed the workshop participants to get acquainted with the modern concepts, IT necessary for passing to this system and exploring the possibilities of their use in the work,” the message said.
“A national prototype of the ASYCUDA World integrated customs information system is being introduced in Turkmenistan,” the message said. “This system will become the main platform that will facilitate the implementation of the single window project for foreign trade in Turkmenistan.”
