The largest volume of Romania’s import from Turkmenistan from January through June 2021 accounted for oil products (mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation) amounting to 92 million Euros, Trend reports referring to Eurostat.
According to Eurostat, during the reporting period, Turkmenistan exported to Romania goods worth 102 million Euros in the amount of 2.7 million tons.
In particular, the largest volume of goods imported by Romania from Turkmenistan accounted for oil products worth 92 million Euros in the amount of 2.4 million tons and fertilizers – 9.2 million tons in the amount of over 352,471 tons.
Also, during the reporting period Romania imported from Turkmenistan plastics worth 632,063 Euros in the amount of 7,760 tons and articles of apparel and clothing accessories, not knitted or crocheted worth 93,313 Euros in the amount of 0,067 tons.
At the same time, in 1H2021 Turkmenistan imported from Romania goods worth 259,572 Euros in the amount of 1,724 tons.
It is reported that during the reporting period Romania mainly exported to Turkmenistan organic chemicals in the amount of 1,610 tons for 190,525 Euros.
Also, in 1H2021 Romania exported to Turkmenistan nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances for 37,937 Euros, plastics – 22,030 Euros and paper and paperboard for 9,078 Euros.
